Goals

The Master in Management Advisory aims at combining conceptual knowledge, critical thinking and practical application of the fundamental curricular units related to the administration of companies, organizations or institutions. Covering core areas such as Advisory and Organizational Communication, Management, Economics, Accounting, IT, Law, Languages and Cultures, Social Sciences and Mathematics, it is proposed to develop specialization in functional aspects of administration through the acquisition of advanced skills by the future Administration Advisor.

Master's Objectives:

  • Develop analytical skills, using concepts that come from a wide range of curricular units, aimed at solving problems in the administrative sphere, in an internal and external context;
  • Provide a set of multidisciplinary tools that provide qualified and specialized training such as Management, Accounting, Law, Social Sciences, Economics;
  • Acquire specialized skills in the field of Management or Law to integrate a position of significant responsibility;
  • Acquire concepts related to the business administration process covering the strategic and operational planning and execution phases;
  • Foster organizational effectiveness through the generation and supply of useful information for the decision-making process of the company's management;
  • Appropriate research and analysis methodologies to produce new knowledge, develop new activities and operational methods;
  • Provide the realization of an internship/professional project or development of a dissertation, to put into practice the knowledge acquired and the skills developed.

This cycle of studies aims to continue the specialized training obtained by students of the 1st cycle of studies in the area of Business Sciences, preparing them to exercise the profession of Administration Advisors. This Master's also intends to prepare students so that, during their professional practice, they are able to deal with uncertainty in a flexible way without neglecting the necessary speed to solve problems.

Recognition of the Master's Degree in Business Administration
