COURSE GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This course aims to train professional senior technicians in accounting and taxation, who participate in the management of the organisation's financial information systems, whether public or private, in terms of accounting and tax records, and planning and control of internal management processes, in order to obtain relevant information to support the administration/management in making decisions regarding the organization's economic and financial management. It allows developing specific technical skills to start a professional activity, identified as a market need, with a good employability potential.


LEARNING OUTCOMES/MAIN ACTIVITIES

A) Research, collect, select, prepare and analyze relevant information of a financial nature, necessary for the fulfillment of accounting obligations by the company or public or private organization;
B) Plan, organize and execute, autonomously, the financial and management accounting of the organisation/company;
C) Implement software and procedures for managing purchases, sales, customers and suppliers, as well as those relating to treasury management;
D) Evaluate the performance of computer accounting applications in accordance with the SNC - Accounting Standardization System;
E) Ensuring the necessary procedures for the fulfillment of the entity's obligations before the Tax Administration;
F) Prepare information to support the preparation of financial management opinions and reports with a view to the efficient and effective performance of the company or public entity.
