Promotions rich in their diversity
At IRIS Sup', there are no clones. Whether student or professional, French or foreign, each student brings their own background, experience, and goals, and is enriched throughout the year by the teaching and the diverse backgrounds of the students and instructors.
Each year, IRIS Sup' welcomes around 20% international students representing around forty nationalities.
As English is required in any international activity, some courses are taught in this language.

Follow-up and pedagogical supervision
With over 560 students in-person and online, IRIS Sup' remains a structure where anonymity has no place. At the beginning of the year, each student signs a set of internal regulations, which will govern their relationship with the school. Class attendance is mandatory, and assignments must be submitted by the set deadlines. Dialogue with the administration is constant: whether an administrative or pedagogical question arises, each student will always find someone to talk to.
IRIS Sup' students have access to a study room, online newspaper subscriptions, and the EcoSocPol package (around 300 journals) from the Cairn portal.
Open courses on the professional world
- An organization favorable to alternating studies/practice: possibility of exercising a professional activity 3 days per week, alongside classes from September to June, then full-time from June to December (internship, apprenticeship, fixed-term contract, permanent contract or student job).
- Contact with professionals: All speakers work in companies, associations, international organizations, or senior civil service. Their courses combine theoretical input, practical applications, and the daily experience of working in an international environment. Projects are carried out with and for partner organizations.
- Involvement in IRIS activities: alongside their courses, IRIS Sup' students can attend conferences, collaborate in IRIS activities and automatically become members of the Institute.
- The alumni network: created in 2008, IRIS Sup' Alumni, the IRIS alumni association, aims to bring together a network that now includes more than 3,700 graduates!
- Professional and international experiences: Workshops to reflect on career plans and internship/job search methods are included in all programs. The Professional Experience Office publishes job advertisements for students and receives them for personalized advice. IRIS Sup' students are now valued by several hundred private companies and public organizations. The Office develops partnerships abroad, organizes international mobility, and monitors international students.
Updated training every year
At IRIS Sup', the opinion of each stakeholder counts: students, teachers (all professionals), internship and apprenticeship contract tutors, partners, graduates currently in employment, etc. Evaluation questionnaires, professional development advice with external professionals, educational meetings, formal and informal meetings and discussions provide the opportunity throughout the year to exchange points of view and constantly develop the content of the programs.
Adapting training to the expectations of employing organizations is a constant concern.
Points common to all formations
Whatever the method chosen, all training courses have the following in common:
- Selection: eligibility based on file then interview;
- The sustained pace of studies: in addition to courses, personal and group work, professional experience (internship, apprenticeship, etc.);
- The mix of geopolitics and professional practice, professional speakers recognized in their field;
- The methods of validating training: continuous assessment (presentations, reading notes, analysis notes, practical cases, simulations, etc.), exams, production of a professional or operational dissertation and professional experience related to the training.
