Introduction

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA)

Psychology is a relatively new and evolving field in Jamaica. The need to understand and evaluate the psychological elements contributing to the rich complexity of the Jamaican people and their culture is without question. The B.A. The psychology programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of key theories and practices in the field, an appreciation of its constantly evolving nature, and the critical application of various psychological perspectives to the Jamaican people and context. Psychology is a field that has great potential for offering solutions and developing leadership, and these are just two of the aims of the CLTD’s B.A. Psychology programme.
