This specialisation course will provide you with regulated academic training that is practical and useful for mastering one of the most complex and demanding digestive endoscopy techniques: Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). The programme includes practical training in leading tertiary university hospitals and offers high-quality education with qualified instructors who are experts in the technique and have over a decade of experience in teaching.

The University Specialisation Course in Digestive Endoscopic Ultrasound is the training you need because:

• You will acquire the theoretical and practical foundations for performing EUS through virtual classes, clinical cases, seminars, forums, videos, simulation exercises, and live, tutor-led practical demonstrations. The different international guidelines (European-ESGE; American-ASGE) discourage self-learning, recommending rotation in leading units and the completion of specialised courses, although the availability of these courses is limited.
• It is carried out at the Sant Cugat Campus of UIC Barcelona, a leading university in the training of healthcare professionals.
• You will complete 15 days of practical training at the facilities of Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, Hospital Mútua de Terrassa, Hospital Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol.
• The teaching staff consists of leading experts in the field of digestive health and endoscopy.
