Introduction
The UMIP offers graduates of this degree knowledge about the procedures of import, export, and transshipment operations of merchandise in a port terminal; the legal aspects that regulate national port institutions, as well as the basic principles in the planning, organization, direction, control, and costing in the services of the port industry. He will also be able to supervise all the personnel and operations that take place within the port system, he will be able to evaluate and analyze the conditions that could affect the development of maritime transport and learn about maritime legislation in the national and international field. The graduate will have character, responsibility and tolerance will act as a true agent of change.
