Description

The Design Research course trains students in the practice of research specific to design. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it addresses and questions the positioning, questions and strategies of design research.

This training allows students to acquire a culture of scientific research, in particular on criteria of precision and depth of analysis, with an emphasis on research. Students learn to master the investigative tools specific to design and borrowed from the human and social sciences, then the designer's modes of creation, expression, representation and communication.

This training aims to be generalist and covers all fields of design: product design, space design, service design, interaction design, social innovation design, science-design interface, etc.

It revolves around a personal project of the student, part of a research team (immersion internship), which may eventually lead to a doctorate.
