This master program requires a total of 33-36 hours, depending on whether ITE 605 must be taken. The program combines a flexible core curriculum with a directed specialization option. Students may choose a specialization to reflect their current area of employment, work experience, or a particular area of interest.

Students obtain practical, applied work experience by completing an occupational internship. This internship can be completed while maintaining current employment but requires affiliation with industry or appropriate organizations.

This master's program can be completed in one and a half years. Students also have the option of part-time study; however, students are required to complete the program within seven years.

Delivery


All courses in the Human Resource Development Program are offered online (via the Internet). Courses are also offered via DVD and live I-TV, accessible at selected receive sites. Students select the course format most suited to their individual needs.

Admission Requirements


Students must apply for and meet the minimum standards for admission to Indiana State University. In addition, students must have an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 or above. The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is not required.
