International Graduate Center - Hochschule Bremen

For applicants with a first university degree IGC offers MBA and Master's degrees in the area of international and European business and management. All programs are taught in English.

IGC guarantees a postgraduate education which satisfies academic and job requirements in equal measure. Team oriented lectures and seminars in small groups with a maximum of 25 students facilitate a constructive dialog between the members. IGC has currently students from more than 40 countries. The international network is strengthened by visiting lecturers from many of our international partner universities who offer courses, lectures and contribute to the inter cultural competence of our students. Many of our lecturers come from the management of top companies in Europe and will provide you with an insight into different companies and fields of business. IGC is part of the International Business School Alliance (IBSA) with four partner universities (located in USA, Spain, France and Germany) that successfully offer an unique dual degree program.

International accreditations

The German accreditation system stipulates that all degree programs are subject to an accreditation which focuses on the assessment of the concept. Re-accreditations must take place at intervals of several years. All programs of IGC are accredited by AQAS or ZEVA.

Furthermore, IGC is a member of two highly respected international business school accreditation agencies and owns different program accreditations:

• the Business Education Alliance AACSB and the
• European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)

Our International MBA degree program (IMBA) was accredited by EFMD in September 2022. It is very important to us that the quality of our academic teaching is guaranteed by professional agencies.
