Key Summary
The Master in Fashion Craftsmanship at IED Madrid offers specialised training that brings together tradition, innovation and sustainability.
Through a practical and experimental approach, you will learn to reinterpret traditional craft techniques—such as embroidery, weaving and textile manipulation—and explore how to give them new meaning within a contemporary design context. The programme examines the relationship between craftsmanship and technology, exploring materials, processes and digital tools that expand the creative and expressive possibilities of today’s fashion industry.
It also encourages critical reflection on the role of the craftsperson in the contemporary landscape, fostering projects that connect cultural heritage with innovation and sustainable practice.
