Key Summary
Introduction
International MBA
Aims
This 17-month part-time MBA program focuses on building core business management competencies while leveraging on the vast cultural diversity of students coming from various countries and different disciplines from all over the world. Created more than 50 years ago, IAE de Paris has expanded on its traditional French MBA Program to build this training in English for their international students.
Competencies
The aim is to offer students a double competency. Building upon an initial education in any field other than business administration and a work experience of at least three years, the International MBA program allows students to obtain a solid foundation of business fundamentals. Competencies acquired are both of a functional (finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management,โฆ) and a cross-functional, transversal type (corporate social responsibility, leadership, intercultural management, โฆ).
Job Opportunities
Double competency is a springboard to the professional development of graduates because it allows them to reach managerial positions, particularly in the European subsidiaries of global companies. Insofar as the International MBA program is a generalist program in business administration, target jobs for graduates are located in all functions of business activity.
Career opportunities
Generally speaking, executive positions in business administration are the target positions after graduating from the International MBA. By adding a global vision of management to their original competencies and helping graduates better understand global firms managing challenges, the program is a true career accelerator. Joining the International MBA Program may also be a necessary step in a professional reorientation by allowing students to acquire competencies in a new business field.
