Designed for graduates with a strong foundation in foreign law and at least one year of professional experience, the programme equips participants with advanced knowledge and skills tailored to their professional and academic aspirations. It fosters a deeper understanding of legal principles and their international dimensions, enabling participants to engage critically with complex legal issues.
In the case of full enrollment in the Master's programme, partial or full tuition waivers may be granted.
Separate applications are not required, since all LL.M. Programme applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships if they indicate their interest on the Program application form.
In addition, prospective students may apply for scholarships offered by various foundations, companies, and organisations. For example, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides various kinds of scholarships for foreign students wishing to study in Germany and for German students going to study abroad. A selection of scholarship opportunities for international students can be found on the website of Humboldt University's Central International Office.
