As a student on our Master's programme in Project Management and Data Science, you've probably had lots of contact points with data analysis and project management in your job, whether it's been in your own projects or in your team.

Dual competencies in data analysis and project management

In our two-year, English-taught programme, you’ll advance from a foundational understanding of data analytics and international project management to the level of advanced, hands-on expertise in both fields. Courses in the core fields include:

• Data Analytics and Statistical Programming
• Data Mining, Databases and Big Data
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Neural Networks
• International Project Management
• Agile Project Management

The curriculum is completed by courses in:

• International business law
• Change management and leadership
• Cross-cultural communication
• Data ethics, data governance and security
• Artificial intelligence

• Accreditation: Re-accredited by the University Board from 02.06.2021 to 30.09.2027, based on the criteria of the "Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assurance" (AQAS). Conforms to the "Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education" (ESG).

Successful master students can also apply for doctoral studies (PhD) at other universities and embark on a career in international research.

Each module (or course) of the MPMD provides you with a mix of

• Real-time lectures with your professors from HTW Berlin

• Self-paced online learning with readings, videos, exercises and opportunities to self-asses your learning progress
• You will also have the opportunity to co-operate and exchange with your fellow MPMD students from 16+ countries on-campus and online

Lectures will simultaneously be streamed as interactive video conferences. Case studies and group work will take place in a hybrid fashion or in parallel on-campus and online.
