Studienkolleg NRW is part of the renowned Hochschule Fresenius - University of Applied Sciences. We prepare international applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification - that is not recognized as equivalent to the German Abitur - for academic studies at a German university.

In order to acquire the German university entrance qualification you have to take a university qualification examination, the so-called Feststellungsprüfung. Both the preparatory courses and the Feststellungsprüfung (university entrance exam) take place at the campus of Hochschule Fresenius in Cologne. Hochschule Fresenius has been commissioned by the Cologne District Government to conduct this university qualification examination since 2012. The examination is thus officially recognized.

Our T-course (Technical Sciences) in the English language prepares you for technical, mathematical, and scientific study programs in Germany. You´ll not only acquire the English language but also be taught mathematics, physics, and chemistry. After you have passed the Feststellungsprüfung, you will be qualified to apply for a Bachelor’s program in English within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
