If you want to improve your English for employment and find out about the Australian workplace, this Australian Government Settlement Language Pathways to Employment and Training (SLPET) program may be the course for you.

There are no prerequisite units. Learners do not have to be employed already or have any particular employment skills.Entry into the skill set for Australian Government SLPET program (Settlement Language Pathways to Employment and Training) will be determined according to a participant's

  • current English language skills (an initial assessment is conducted)
  • learning and pathway needs including employability skills, digital and other literacies and further educational and vocational training needs.
  • Learners need to be over 18 years old
  • Be eligible for the AMEP
