Introduction
Explore the 22609VIC Course in Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure up to 22 kW, offering licenced electricians comprehensive training. Develop skills to design compliant EVCI installations that meet client requirements and proficiently test and commission EVCI setups up to 22 kW of alternating current (AC).
This is a pilot program funded by the Victorian Government and specifically designed for qualified Electricians. The program covers consulting with clients regarding electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI) requirements, assessing potential integration of new EVCI with existing residential and (small) commercial electrical installations, designing and proposing compliant EVCI according to usage, configuration, and budgetary requirements, as well as assessing options, and testing and commissioning appropriate EVCI according to usage, configuration, and budgetary requirements.
Learners completing the accredited Course will be specifically trained EVCI personnel who can design, test, and commission EVCI safely and effectively.
Holders of this licence have successfully completed the licencing and registration requirements that apply to the relevant state or territory regulatory body.
