Key Summary

About : The Informatics program focuses on the intersection of computer science and data analysis. You'll explore various applications in technology while gaining skills like programming, networking, and data management. The course typically requires two years of study and offers a robust curriculum designed to meet the needs of today’s digital landscape.
Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue roles like software developer, data analyst, or systems architect. Other opportunities include positions in IT consulting, cybersecurity, and project management, where you’ll leverage your tech skills to drive projects and solve complex problems.

The knowledge gained in the IT faculty at the University of Technology and Commerce (UTH) allows students to master the broadly understood programming skills. It is the developers that companies from the IT market are looking for. Enterprises from this branch of the economy care more and more about building teams of highly qualified specialists. Experts who will be perfectly familiar with general IT issues and for whom more advanced issues (related to, among others, signal and information theory, automation and robotics or event programming) will not constitute barriers.

After graduating in computer science, specializing in software engineering, you will be able to use your skills to work as a programmer in large and small companies, in large and small programming teams and in various areas of application of programming skills. The knowledge and skills acquired during these studies provide real opportunities to test yourself in various environments. Full-time studies last 7 semesters and end with obtaining the professional title of engineer.
