Key Summary

About : The Mechatronics and Robotics (BEng) program offers an integrated approach to mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering. Students will learn to design and build intelligent systems combining these disciplines. The course emphasizes practical experiences, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and industrial placements.
Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue careers in various fields, including robotics engineering, automation, product development, and systems integration. Opportunities also exist in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and aerospace, where expertise in mechatronics and robotics is essential for innovation and efficiency.

Mechatronics and Robotics engineers at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences solve the technical problems of today and develop the products of tomorrow, e.g. head-up displays that show important information in the drivers´ field of vision, inter-connected robots, laser processing machines and sensors in an industrial internet environment, lightweight, but high-strength bionic structures produced through 3D-printing. Mechatronics and robotics build the bridge between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and informatics. For this reason, our students learn how to solve technical tasks through an interdisciplinary approach.
