NURSING DEPARTMENT

The aim of the Undergraduate Nursing program is to raise individuals who understand the values and behaviors of people, determine the needs of healthy or sick individuals, and provide healthcare services in line with these requirements.

Nursing education provided for this purpose is carried out on the basis of scientific problem solving, continuous research and learning, in line withΒ internationalstandards, nationallaws, regulationsandrequirements.

Inthiscontext, thenurse is thepersonwhoseesΒ theindividual as a wholewiththebio-psycho-social-spiritualdimensionandusesthescientificΒ problem-solvingsystem in solvingbothexistingandpossiblehealthproblems.

Undergraduateeducation inΒ nursingcoversΒ a 4-year period.

Thetraining program includestrainingthat is prepared in linewiththeEuropeanUnionCriteriaand Bologna processandincludestheoreticalandclinicalfieldpractices.

Inourdepartment, education is provided in eightdepartments of nursingand service is providedwith an academicstaffconsisting of experiencedteachingstaff inΒ eachdepartment.
