Introduction

Harran University Veterinary Faculty was opened in 1995. In the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, breeding and production of pet, small and bovine animals and poultry, improving their generations, increasing their productivity, protecting their health, treating their diseases, preventing epidemic diseases, performing preventive medicine duties in diseases transmitted from animals to humans, controlling the quality of animal products and their conformity to human health Education, research and practice are carried out on environmental pollution, marketing of live animals and animal products.

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine aims to ensure student mobility and development of teaching materials among educational institutions. ensure the training of veterinarians at a level to compete in the international arena in Turkey and for this purpose the provision of world-class educational activities are among the main targets. The main mission of the faculty is to educate qualified veterinarians who comprehend current and developing technologies, are equipped with knowledge and skills based on research, have ethical principles and attitudes and adopt lifelong learning as a principle.
