About: The MSc Management in International Business (MIB) at GEM – Alpine Business School is a triple‑accredited programme for graduates. It develops business fundamentals, language and intercultural skills to train intercultural‑aware managers. Entry requires a 3-year Bachelor level; it confers a Master's degree (Bac+5, RNCP 37252). You learn through hands‑on workshops, group and individual assignments, and can do exchange semester abroad.
Career Outcomes: Graduates work worldwide in sectors; typical roles include human resources, marketing, banking, public relations, general management and consulting. You may also move into international project, business development or cross‑cultural consultancy roles in multinationals, NGOs or public organisations.

The program focuses on the knowledge required by managers in different sectors to work in international companies and environments. It is a strong generalist program that integrates all the core management courses and uses cross-functional approaches to apply these key fields while providing students with an international specialization.
Foreign language skills are essential in business today. The program is taught in English. No prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program. Students are required to study a second language during the first year of the program

Professional Tracks:
Students choose one of the following:
- Work Experience: Four to six months of internship or employment, anywhere in the world
- Start-Up Project: Four to five months working on your idea full-time with the support of a mentor (your project must be validated by the coaching center)
- Professional Certificate: Students choose from a catalog of professional online certificates developed by GEM

Languages
Learning a foreign language is an integral part of the program in order to graduate. Non-French speakers may choose from a number of other languages at the beginner level.
Final Dissertation
The specialized Final dissertation is one of the core components of the second year of the program. Students begin in September and will complete it by the end of the academic year.
