Introduction
Robinson’s Master of International Business reflects global market demands and responds to emerging trends, all while preparing students for success in the international business landscape.
Students can choose between the following three tracks:
- Global Management Consultancy
- Global Supply Chain & Logistics
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Through frequent site visits, students build knowledge aligning with their chosen academic tracks. For example, global supply chain and logistics students may observe behind-the-scenes operations at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport freight and cargo terminal as well as the Port of Savannah.
Entrepreneurship and innovation students may tour Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners, a 500-acre technology park as well as Three Ring Studio, a campus housing tenants from the media, film, and television industries. Global management consultancy students may travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to visit Kordsa, a global manufacturing plant that develops reinforcement technologies for the tires of automobiles, airplanes, and motorcycles as well as agricultural and industrial vehicles.
Tackle Complex Hands-On Assignments
- Through a field study, work with executives from companies looking to go global or to expand their international footprint.
- Conduct a country risk assessment and quantify opportunities in emerging markets.
- Collaborate with teammates in other countries both in-person and virtually in solving real-world challenges.
- Develop skills in business analytics to make data-informed decisions.
- Prepare a consultancy report on a global business issue.

You will have access to Robinson’s Center for International Business Education & Research, an initiative centering on the advancement of international business education, research, and practice. Only 16 CIBERs exist across the country, and this rich resource will be right at your fingertips.
Join the World Affairs Council of Atlanta
As a Master of International Business student, you will receive free membership to the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, an organization providing a forum for informed discussion of the global affairs that impact Metro Atlanta as well as support for the city’s transformation into an international economic hub.
Receive One-on-One Mentorship from a Program Alum
Engage with and learn from a Master of International Business alum, who will meet with you in person or virtually to guide you through the process of developing career readiness and soft skills.
How long will it take?
11 months (3 semesters)
Students typically attend class two nights per week. All classes are held twice a week from 5:30-9:45 p.m., to accommodate the schedules of working professionals.

Global Management Consultancy Track
Through the Global Management Consultancy track, you will develop skills and competencies in the area of management consulting, and complete hands-on projects focusing on global business development, management, and transformation.
You also will earn a Data Certificate through Georgia State’s library. The Data Certificate is self-paced but must be started and completed within the same semester.
