Our bachelor of science in tourism and events management (TEM) lays the foundation for a successful career in the wide and dynamic world of tourism, events, and hospitality.

What You’ll Learn

The curriculum of the TEM major includes experiential, theoretical, and analytical components. This major helps prepare students for management positions in all segments of the tourism, events, and hospitality industries. The program is designed to give students a broad general education complemented by strong management and problem-solving orientation.

A key component of the TEM major is hands-on experience through two fieldwork courses. The combination of coursework and fieldwork ensures students will graduate with a level of competency and working knowledge that immediately qualifies them for leadership responsibilities.
