Recent global health challenges, like the global pandemic, political conflicts, and rising rates of non-communicable diseases highlight the interconnected nature of health issues that transcend national boundaries. Now, more than ever, there's a need for skilled professionals who can navigate these complexities and prepare public health institutions for the challenges and advantages of globalization. The Bachelor of Science in Global Health equips you to address the interplay of structural, political, social, economic, and environmental determinants shaping global health. You will engage critically with many dimensions affecting global health, including government policies, demographic shifts, disparities in wealth, climate change, and many more. Through a holistic education spanning health, social, and political sciences and with unique features like international internships, study abroad options, hands-on research, and mentoring by professors actively working in the field, Fulda’s Global Health program prepares you to be tomorrow's global health leaders.

The Deutschlandstipendium
With the Deutschlandstipendium, the university, together with private sponsors from the region, supports those who stand out for their outstanding achievements or sustained social commitment. The scholarship amounts to 300$ per month and is paid for two semesters. The application phase runs from the beginning of June until 1 August.

This full-time, on-campus programme spans seven semesters and awards 210 ECTS credits. German students are required to complete a semester abroad in the 4th semester. International students can complete a semester abroad or choose from various modules within Fulda University or another university in Germany.
In the 5th and 6th semesters, all students participate in a study project that spans both semesters, providing an opportunity to apply their knowledge to practice.
The internship in the seventh semester, with an organization involved in the field of Global Health, is mandatory for all students.
