Modern agricultural businesses are therefore reorienting themselves strategically and organizationally and are increasingly specializing in areas such as direct marketing of agricultural products, specialty crop cultivation or digital services. Management and leadership skills are in demand here. Successful agricultural managers and independent farmers should recognize new trends, understand digitalization, product innovations
and market them digitally. Graduates of the course can develop and implement all of this within the framework of the diverse challenges of the agricultural industry - and of course, taking into account resource-efficient, sustainable ecological and ethical production and logistics.

The course opens up the opportunity for graduates to take on managerial and advisory roles in the agricultural sector. The best career opportunities can be found in product management of (digital) products in the agricultural sector, in project and regional management, in the management of agricultural businesses or in the management of agriculturally oriented companies, as a communications consultant in agricultural Marketing or in agricultural policy. Agricultural entrepreneurship is explicitly promoted in the course.
