About us

Founded in 1994, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria has grown to become a beacon of high-quality education in Austria. It boasts four faculties, over 70 study programs, and roughly 6,000 students engaged in various disciplines. What's more, with over 27,000 illustrious alumni, we take pride in being Austria's strongest research university of applied sciences!

We are constantly pushing the boundaries by ensuring knowledge and research-driven teaching, and by contributing a third of the total research output among all universities of applied sciences in Austria.
