    About : The Master in International Relations (MAIN) offers students an in-depth understanding of global issues through a comprehensive curriculum. This program covers international politics, economics, and the role of international institutions, preparing you to analyze complex global problems. Students can expect to engage in practical projects and research, enhancing their analytical and critical thinking skills over the course’s duration of two years.
    Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue diverse career paths, including roles in diplomacy, international organizations, non-profit sectors, and government agencies. Potential job titles include foreign affairs analyst, policy advisor, and international development consultant. This degree equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the global landscape.

The program will help you understand how international and European politics work, and what are the challenges faced by states, business, NGOs and individuals, in the globalized world. You will learn about the key points of contestation in world politics, but also about the functioning of the European Union and global institutions, and how international conflicts can be productively transformed into cooperation.

The program offers a double-degree option with the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Applicants are selected, based on merit, after the first semester. Successful graduates will obtain Master’s degrees from both universities.

The structure of the program is based on an interdisciplinary framework. In addition, we put an emphasis on the development of your analytical capabilities and critical thinking.
