Physiotherapy graduates deal with prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in areas of human movement, of superior cortical functions resulting from pathological events of various etiology, congenital or acquired. Physiotherapy graduates, within the scope of their skills and in reference to the diagnosis and prescriptions of the doctor, develop a rehabilitation program in the team aimed at identifying the need for health of the disabled person.

The graduate in physiotherapy deals with the rehabilitation of motor, psychomotor and cognitive disabilities, using manual therapies, massages and electromedical equipment. At the end of the course, the graduates will have adequate preparation in the medical-scientific disciplines in order to allow them to better understand the most relevant elements that are at the base of the pathological processes on which the rehabilitative and therapeutic intervention is concentrated, as well as the collaboration with the reference medical team.
