Introduction

OVERVIEW:

As part of its mandate in the field of interfaith diplomacy, EUCLID offers to select students from the general public an external (distance or online) program called the EUCLID Master of Arts in Comparative Christian Theology. This program also exists (due to variations in the curriculum) as a Master of Arts in Comparative Religion. It should be noted that specialized programs in Interfaith Studies / Interreligious Diplomacy are also offered.

This online MA, representing 40 US credits (60 ECTS), is the world's only Master's degree program in this field offered by an intergovernmental organization, which also has a specific mandate and recognized expertise in interfaith diplomacy. In 2016, EUCLID received the first prize of the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week (photo below) and continues to support a number of theological and interfaith initiatives such as Interfaith Cities.

Partial scholarships are available ECOWAS residents and a permanent staff of intergovernmental organizations. Full scholarships are reserved for officials and staff of EUCLID's Participating States.
