The specialty Logistics teaches you to organize the movement of commodity and information flows, to respond quickly and adequately in crisis situations, to manage business processes and partnerships. Every year, along with the expansion of European transport corridors, there is a growing need for logistics specialists in Estonia as well.
In addition to professional skills, you will acquire management, communication, analytical, legal and economic knowledge that is so necessary for your future career . Experienced practitioners, enterprise consultants, as well as well-known Estonian analysts in the field of economics and entrepreneurship are among the teachers.
Training takes place without interruption from work and family - in the correspondence form. Our graduates and students with experience in other educational institutions believe that we offer the best educational organization in Estonia, which allows combining studies, work and family life . Training sessions take place on average once a month, from Thursday to Sunday , in addition to which there is also provided independent training. Sessional training is convenient and is possible for people working at full-time. Most of the training is practice. The learning process is supported, adapted to the needs of correspondence, IT solutions . We are a university 99% paper free. The unique, constantly evolving, educational information system of the Minor University has repeatedly received recognition from international evaluation committees.
The specialty Logistics, as well as our other training programs, is assessed and accredited by the international evaluation committee . The last assessment took place in 2017, as a result of which Logistics and other business specialties received the highest rating for the quality of education in Estonian higher education. As a special advantage, the expert committee, led by a representative of the London School of Economics , highlighted the availability of training, the continuous development of curricula, close communication between students and the university, and close cooperation with employers.
The curriculum development and training of the Logistics Specialization Program is carried out in cooperation with the Estonian Logistics and Freight Forwarding Association ELA and the Estonian Procurement Management Chain and the PROLOG Supply Chain .
Practical higher education requires close cooperation between students and the university. That is why we are waiting for candidates who deliberately choose a specialty , who have a clear plan and goal to get a higher education, who have a high degree of motivation to study and are willing to contribute to a more effective organization of their studies. For us, higher education is an equal partnership between professional players.
In the 2019/2020 academic year, 30 students are admitted to the specialty Logistics . A graduate of the specialty Logistics receives a diploma of higher applied education on the implementation of the curriculum Business Management in the specialty of Logistics.
