The specialty Financial Management teaches us to form, place and analyze financial resources of an enterprise, evaluate the productivity of investments and see a real and deeper picture of its activity in the financial indicators of an enterprise. Often, financial managers are appointed as senior managers .
In addition to professional skills, you will acquire management, communication, analytical, legal and economic knowledge that is so necessary for your future career . Experienced practitioners, enterprise consultants, as well as well-known Estonian analysts in the field of economics and entrepreneurship are among the teachers.
Training takes place without interruption from work and family - in absentia. Our graduates and students with experience in other educational institutions believe that we offer the best organization of the educational process in Estonia, which allows you to combine study, work and family life . Training sessions are held on average once a month, from Thursday to Sunday , in addition to which independent training is also provided. The learning process is supported by IT solutions tailored to the needs of the correspondence course . We are a 99% paper-free university. The unique, constantly evolving, educational information system of the University of Minor has repeatedly received recognition from international evaluation committees.
The specialty of financial management, as well as our other training programs, is assessed and accredited by an international evaluation committee . The last evaluation took place in 2017, as a result of which Financial Management and other business specialties received the highest rating for the quality of education in Estonian higher education. As a special advantage, the expert committee, led by a representative of the London School of Economics , highlighted the availability of training, the continuous development of curricula, close communication between students and the university, and close cooperation with employers.
The Financial Management specialty program was drawn up in cooperation with experts from the financial departments of LHV Banka , KredEx , as well as Eesti Energia and Eesti Raudtee . Practical higher education requires close collaboration between students and the university. That is why we are waiting for candidates who deliberately choose a specialty , who have a clear plan and goal to get a higher education, who have a high degree of motivation to study and are ready to contribute to a more effective organization of their studies. For us, higher education is an equal partnership between professional players.
In the 2019/2020 academic year, 30 students are admitted to the specialty Finance Management . A graduate of the specialty Finance Management receives a diploma of higher applied education on the implementation of the curriculum of Business Administration with a degree in Financial Management.
