The Master of Arts (MA) in Graphic Design will provide students with a Bachelor of Arts and various specialisations (such as animation, graphic design, media design, web design, motion pictures, and fine arts) with the opportunity to further their studies and expand their knowledge.
The four-semester program will include both theoretical courses—such as contemporary art history, the history of design, and creative writing—and practical classes in various areas. These include animation (2D and 3D, motion typography, and sound design), graphic design (creative publishing, typography, and font design), media design (game programming, game design, 2D and 3D, and sound design), and web design (HTML and web development).
While the Master's program does provide valuable skills and knowledge, its primary aim is to cultivate a more mature intellectual attitude, enhanced artistic thinking, and a broader understanding of the creative industries. Students will also be prepared for their thesis and master's thesis projects.
Graduates of the MA in Graphic Design will be eligible to pursue doctoral studies and will be equipped for teaching positions at the university level, as well as higher-level roles in the creative industry, such as in creative agencies or as art directors.
