The Graduate Program in Law at Universidade Estácio , recognized by Capes with concept 5, aims to:
- encourage legal research, dogmatic and interdisciplinary studies with other knowledge as a formative basis for critical legal knowledge;
- train researchers in conditions to understand the legal system in its intertwining with the surrounding reality, especially with other branches of knowledge;
- train teachers capable of understanding and, thus, problematizing the legal phenomenon in its various dimensions in order to enable them to seek solutions to the challenges that arise;
