Educational foundations of the Curriculum

The Master's Study Plan has been designed taking into account the general principles listed in art. 3.5 of the aforementioned Royal Decree and the definition of the training objectives in the form of academic and professional skills in which the student must train. The priority objective of the degree is to provide adequate scientific training at a postgraduate level in relation to Human Resources and Organization Management, transmitting knowledge as well as providing management skills. The training action of the Master is based on combining scientific rigor with business reality, integrating theory and practice, with a methodology based on dialogue and the exchange of experiences, reflection on “cases”, and, as a basis, the development of capacity for analysis and synthesis and an overview of the meaning and responsibilities of one's work.

The program will be developed from a theoretical-practical perspective through the theoretical analysis of the contents and its practical application through various methodologies. The practical part of this Master will combine several techniques such as the development and resolution of practical cases from business reality, simulation or role-playing games, group dynamics, analysis and discussion of press articles and popular books. general company, videos, company websites, etc. In addition, as complementary activities during the duration of the master's degree, seminars and/or conference cycles will be held in which prominent academics and managers from companies, associations and public and private organizations will explain the economic activity carried out in their organization and the sectors in which they operate. , with the aim of promoting students' access to the world of business practice.

General objectives of the Study Plan:

In this sense, the Curriculum and the methodology of the Master are oriented towards the acquisition by the students of knowledge and training that aims to:

• Provide management capabilities and skills as well as the methodology to apply them in the management of organizations and people
• Develop specific strategic organizational and Human Resources competencies that allow students to build the necessary human capital that organizations require to achieve their objectives.
• Develop and enhance skills and abilities for individual and group work, for conflict resolution and for the formation of intercultural and interdisciplinary groups.
• Develop and enhance the ability of students to understand the processes of change in the organization and the creation and maintenance of organizational culture
• Know and master the most appropriate techniques and tools in the management area to enhance the ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
• Facilitate the acquisition and development of competencies and skills of practical application, so that students are able to identify the specific needs of the organization and offer accurate diagnoses and valid solutions.

Competencies

The European Higher Education Area, initiated in 1999 with the Bologna Declaration, promotes a change in teaching methodologies, which focuses the objective on the student's learning process, which extends throughout life and towards employability. For this reason, the study plans, leading to obtaining a degree, must have the acquisition of skills by students at the center of their objectives.

What is meant by Competition? The set of knowledge, skills and attitudes that are acquired or developed through coordinated training experiences, which have the purpose of achieving functional knowledge that efficiently responds to a task or problem of daily and professional life that requires a process of teaching and learning.
