The tuition fee scholarship is not considered a scholarship under the Higher Education Act or the Scholarship Rules of the European Research University. It is an award from the “For the Future” Endowment Fund, established in accordance with its founding purpose, which includes providing scholarships to students from institutions within the PRIGO Group, of which the European Research University is a member.
This scholarship supports the university's goal of ensuring open access to education for all motivated, hardworking, and ambitious students, regardless of their social or other disadvantages. In line with the university's strategic priorities, it is primarily awarded to students enrolled in full-time, research-oriented, or internationally-focused programmes.
Who is eligible for the scholarship?
Any applicant or student may apply, provided they have been accepted into a programme at the European Research University or a University of London programme offered through the Recognised Teaching Centre in Ostrava operated by the European Research University. Information on whether a specific programme is part of the scholarship scheme is available for each programme at its profile.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are submitted online with all relevant supporting documentation. To complete the online application, a unique Student ID is required, which is provided to each accepted applicant, along with further information and the decision on their admission to a programme that is part of the scholarship scheme. For current students, the Student ID is valid throughout their studies.
Amount of the scholarship
The scholarship can cover the full tuition fee or part of it. The award is between 50% and 100% of the tuition fee for the relevant academic year. Scholarships are available for tuition in specific programmes at the European Research University, as well as in programmes at the University of London’s Recognised Teaching Centre operated by the university. The scholarship can also be applied to the tuition fees set directly by the University of London. It may be combined with other ERUNI scholarships or third-party scholarship schemes.
