    About : The Aircraft Body and Engine Maintenance program provides specialized training in the maintenance and repair of aircraft structures and engines. Students will learn about various aspects of aircraft maintenance, including systems, safety regulations, and techniques required for effective servicing. This program prepares graduates to ensure safety and reliability in aviation operations.
    Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue careers as aircraft maintenance engineers, technicians, and quality control inspectors. They may find positions within commercial airlines, maintenance organizations, or government agencies overseeing aircraft safety. This program equips students with the necessary skills to maintain high standards in the aviation industry.

Aviation is a sector that requires different disciplines to work together and in harmony. Today's aircraft are equipped with high-tech airframe and engine structures. Advanced technology reveals the need for expert technical staff. The purpose of our Faculty Airframe and Engine Maintenance Department; To train aircraft maintenance personnel equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the maintenance personnel needs of aviation related institutions or organizations. Our Faculty's Aircraft Fuselage and Engine Maintenance Department provides training as an Aircraft Maintenance Training Organization (SHY-147) authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

Every year, a total of 124 students, 62 formal and 62 secondary education, are admitted to the Department of Aircraft Airframe and Engine Maintenance with the numeric score of the Field Proficiency Test (AYT). Educational activities in our department; It is carried out by 15 lecturers, including 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 6 doctor lecturers, 2 lecturers and 5 research assistants, and 4 technical staff. In addition, faculty members from other departments of our University and experienced technical personnel from public institutions or organizations related to aviation teach in our department when needed.
