Introduction
Bachelor in 3D Computer Animation Major
All our majors commence upon completion of our Foundation Year requirements.
The 3D Computer Animation Major provides an intensive curriculum to foster a comprehensive understanding and in-depth expertise in 3D animation and digital media. Students become critical and creative thinkers while honing technical skills and a level of competency in order to meet the demands of animation industry standards and grow individually as artists and storytellers.
Our curriculum offers experiences beyond learning about animation techniques and methodology. Students have the opportunity to experiment with novel mediums in digital media through faculty research projects, international collaboration projects with partner institutes, video game development projects, and experimentation with emerging technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. Our program offers students hands-on animation production experience in order to prepare them for life after school, whether as commercial artists or independent filmmakers.
