Master in Pediatrics

The Specialization in Pediatrics develops an approach towards the care of healthy and sick children, both at an outpatient and hospital level, maintaining a balance between them. Likewise, it has a large component in pediatric primary care using and teaching strategies such as IMCI and field work in Public health. As a general purpose, the postgraduate program seeks to train pediatric specialists with the ability to promote healthy life habits, prevent disease, preserve or restore children's health, defend their rights before the family and society, keeping in mind the biopsychosocial unit.
