The aim of the Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences Graduate Program is to educate modern scientists who are specialized in different subfields in the field of Astronomy and Space Sciences; can derive new information using his/her accumulations in the field of basic mathematics, physics and astronomy and space sciences; can create a new topic and field of study keeping abreast of current news in science end technology; can submit his/her scientific results in the national and international scientific community in writing and verbally; assimilate the moral science and modern scientific conception; is aware of facts of life; adopt the importance of lifelong learning. Master of Science Program completion time is four semesters. Our students take 7 compulsory and elective courses, which correspond with a minimum of 52.5 ECTS and Seminar course for the first two semesters. In the second year, in addition to the Thesis Work, they take a Specialization Course.
