Bachelor in Jazz and Popular Music Studies

The programme aims to develop a thorough understanding of jazz and popular music, and its relationship to contemporary Jamaican and Caribbean societies. The principal instrument, improvisation, jazz harmony and arranging, jazz and Jamaican music history, as well as jazz and popular ensembles, are emphasized in this programme of study.
