The new English Language Institute at Edmonds College (ELI) will offer four levels of English language courses designed for academic and professional preparation.
Program Structure
- 4 levels: Low Beginner, High Beginner, Low Intermediate, and High Intermediate
- Small class size
- 18 hours of classes per week
- After 3 months, students may progress to the next level or jump levels based on their individual performance.
Weekly Schedule
- 10 hours of Integrated Skills Course (Reading, Writing, Grammar)
- 5 hours of Speaking and Listening Course
- 3 hours of English Skills Support Course (beginner levels only) or of College and Career Success Course (advanced levels only)
