Key Summary
About: The Bachelor of Applied Science in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (ROBAI) emphasizes hands-on training in automation, robotics, and data analytics for manufacturing. You’ll learn to design, implement, and maintain systems and use real-time data to optimize processes. The programme sits near Seattle tech and aerospace.
A 30-student cohort starts in fall; programme is two years (six quarters), hybrid. ROBAI runs fall–spring; students take 10 credits per quarter.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue roles in robotics, automation. Potential positions include automation engineer, robotics technician, controls engineer, systems integrator, robotics programmer with employers in manufacturing, aerospace, and tech Seattle and beyond.
Be on the cutting edge of automation technologies.
Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (BAS-ROBAI) program focuses on hands-on learning. The program will equip students with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and maintain advanced manufacturing systems that leverage robotics, interconnected sensors, and data analytics to troubleshoot and optimize production processes, enabling real-time decision-making and increased efficiency throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle. You will be taught by faculty members with industry experience who will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary in the rapidly growing field of robotics in manufacturing. When you earn your degree, you will be a highly competitive graduate prepared for positions in a variety of industries in the Seattle area, Washington State, and beyond.
Program Highlights
The BAS Robotics and Artificial Intelligence degree is designed for those with professional-technical academic backgrounds who strive for career advancement, stronger skills, knowledge, and pathways to higher degree levels.

The program follows a cohort model that admits 30 students each fall. Each cohort will follow a specific sequence of BAS-ROBAI classes each quarter throughout the program. The program lasts two years (or six quarters). You will start and complete the program with the same group of students and have the opportunity to build a strong network.
Take Convenient Classes
- Hybrid format, courses are offered in a combination of online and in-person lessons.
- Upper Division courses only required during the fall, winter, and spring quarters. Students will be enrolled in 10 credits of ROBAI courses per quarter.
- Your remaining lower-division courses can be completed during the required quarters, during summer, and/or in a third year.
Learn Practical, In-Demand Skills
