Introduction
The Art program is a skills-based curriculum that satisfies humanities distribution requirements, elective requirements, and foundation work required for most four-year art degrees.
In each course, you will learn the principles of art and the historical context of the discipline.
Our art department offers you a range of introductory and advanced courses that fulfill the humanities distribution requirements for the associate in arts (AA) and associate of technical arts (ATA) degrees. We offer studio courses in drawing, painting, design, sculpture, and pottery. In addition, we provide lecture-based classes in art appreciation and art history.
