Introduction

This Course is suitable for individuals who have completed a level 1 course in carpentry and joinery at the college, code I1AF and who are now wishing to study carpentry in more depth and to gain employment in the industry. The focus is on practical application of skills and supporting theory.

Progression after the programme could be onto employment in the industry or an Apprenticeship.

After completing the programme and demonstrating competence on site, you may wish to develop your skills further and work towards higher NVQs/ Diplomas in carpentry or joinery.
