Introduction

The online Master of Science in Education degree from EOU will give you advanced knowledge in research, curriculum analysis and development and teaching techniques. Our program allows you to specialize in one of the following concentrations: literacy, curriculum leadership, English for speakers of other languages, dyslexia, trauma in educational communities, or special education. If you choose ESOL, literacy or special education for your concentration, those courses count toward Oregon endorsements (additional requirements may apply). Electives can further customize your degree program for the career you want.

With a Master of Science in Education degree, you will be qualified for careers inside the classroom but also in career and curriculum coaching, consulting and curriculum-based administrative positions that do not require an administrative license. With newly redesigned degree requirements, you may complete your online M.S. in Education in five quarters, moving at a pace that fits your life and goals.

Please note that this program can only recommend candidates for licensure endorsements in Oregon. You must have an Oregon teaching license in order to be recommended for an endorsement in ESOL, reading intervention (from the literacy/reading track) or special education.
