Develop the knowledge and skills necessary to create effective, informed classrooms and educational communities with Eastern Oregon University's 36-credit Master of Science in Education: Trauma in Educational Communities program. In this program, you'll learn from expert faculty and study a variety of topics such as the foundations of trauma and identity in education, building trauma-invested school communities, technologies in trauma-invested communities and more.
Students will have the opportunity to analyze their own multidimensional identities and explore how the various aspects of their identities afford them privilege and power. Students will also study the connections between identity and the prevalence and types of trauma, as well as look at various relevant case studies.
