BTEC National L3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science

This course in Applied Science shares the common purpose of helping people become occupationally ready to take employment in the applied science sector at the appropriate level. This can follow either directly after achieving the qualification, or via Higher Education (HE) 's stepping stone in university or college. By studying a BTEC Level 3 National, learners develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required by the sector, including essential employability skills, and apply them in real work contexts.

This two-year course is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and provides the knowledge, understanding, and skills that underpin the study of the applied science sector, and allows learners to focus on different aspects of applied science. The course consists of 7 mandatory units plus optional units.
