Medical Assistants fill a critical role on the healthcare team, and there aren’t enough of them to meet the growing demand. If you’re looking for an online Medical Assisting program, Eagle Gate College offers a dynamic MA program that can be completed in as little as 9 months. Students learn through a combination of virtual instruction, hands-on lab exercises, and supervised externship hours.
While earning your diploma in Medical Assisting, you’ll acquire the necessary skills to assist physicians, conduct lab work, suture wounds, take vital signs, and interpret results. Graduates of the program are also eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification exam offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
