Collaborating With Eureka
The Duke-NUS Master of International Translational Medicine strategically leverages its strong historic partnership with the Eureka Institute for Translational Medicine.
The Eureka Institute is an international network of leaders in the field of translational medicine. Founded in 2008, Eurekaโs world-class partner universities have sought to build and foster a global community of translational medicine professionals to advance the application of biomedical innovation for tangible benefits to patients and society as a whole. The Institute does this through education, building community, and research.
Over the years, Eurekaโs network of partners, supporters, and members of its community has grown in diversity and strength. SingHealth Duke-NUS has been a strong supporter of the Eureka Institute since 2013, working in collaboration to deliver various educational outreach programs such as a week-long international certificate program hosted in Siracusa, Italy, each year, as well as regional programs hosted in the Netherlands and Singapore.
It has been a goal of the Eureka Institute to support expanding the Eureka experience into advanced degree opportunities at its partner institutions. The Duke-NUS Master of International Translational Medicine is meant to do just that and, through its partnership with Eureka, provides its students with direct access to a community of professionals involved in the Translational Medicine ecosystem.
As a MITM student, you will have the opportunity to interact with faculty from our Eureka partners. This includes classroom-based activities, as well as mentorship opportunities. The access to such a diverse pool of world-class experts, all of whom have a passion for educating and mentoring, is an unparalleled opportunity for MITM students.
