Introduction

Maritime Law in DMU ranks first in China among all relevant programs in the field of maritime jurisprudence. This program cultivates legal professionals with the systematic legal knowledge to engage in legal work in port and shipping businesses, foreign-invested enterprises, legislative, administrative, judicial, arbitration agencies, and legal service organizations on the basis of the solid foundation of relevant laws and policies.

Program Objectives

This program aims at cultivating high-level, application-oriented, well-rounded and well-grounded legal professionals with solid foreign language foundation, systematic legal knowledge mastery, profound understanding of the shipping industry (international economy) and related business.
